Description
With good winter and spring rains, the growing season in the lead up to vintage 2022 was widely regarded as “idyllic”. In the lead up to harvest 2022, the Adelaide Hills experienced some volatile thunderstorm activity early on, however mild and warm conditions prevailed throughout harvest.
The fruit was picked early, crushed, chilled and the juice immediately separated from the skins to enhance delicacy. Following cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was immediately clarified and filtered for bottling to retain freshness & purity.
