Description
Petaluma has a single-minded focus on producing wines of uncommon quality, and a respectful sense of place. Fruit for this extremely limited Merlot is sourced from a small patch of dry grown, low yielding, vertically trained vines. Painstakingly hand pruned and hand picked, fastidiously coaxed through fermentation and 22 months oak maturation, this is a proper; Merlot. Full-bodied, opulent, plum pudding and mocha.
