Description
It was 1788. Criminals were becoming colonists, thanks to new laws passed by the British Empire. Laws that would see the punishment of “transportation” to a foreign land, Australia, become a reality for thousands. Many of those who traversed the globe en route to their frontier prison would perish at sea. The rough-hewn prisoners who reached Australia lived in servitude beneath the lash.
